Hulya Oyman, President of Turkish Translation Services was educated at Istanbul University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science in 1979.

As well as residing as president of Turkish Translation Services, she has held a position as Assistant and Selector of Turkish Books in the Languages and Performing Arts section at the Toronto Reference Library since 1981.

She is also the only certified Turkish-English, English-Turkish translator in Canada, a member of both ATIO and CTC. (License no: 1840). She has provided a wide range of translation and interpretation services both from Turkish to English and English to Turkish, attended numerous formal meetings as the official translator of Canadian government delegates when they have visited Turkey. Likewise, when Turkish dignitaries visit their Canadian counterparts in Canada, she has provided the same services to them. She has acted as the official interpreter of the Honorable Jean Chretien, former Prime Minister while he attended an International Conference in Istanbul in 1999.

Ms. Oyman has also provided translation/interpretation services to many lawyers, insurance companies, Workers Compensation Board, Tribunal Hearings, Ministry of Labour cases, Traffic Courts, and Criminal Courts upon invitation by the Prosecutor Attorney and Ministry.
